One of my Favorite places to eat lunch on a Sautrday afternoon

I've been going to Alicia's now for some time the food is great and healthy and almost anytime were heading to the mall we stop in to Alicia's to eat and do a little shopping ! One of my favorite sandwich's is there Pink Cloud~Turkey with Cream cheese, Cranberries, Lettuce & Mayo on Sourdough. and the Potato Cheese Soup is the best! And all the desserts are homemade and change daily.

The Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

So we go to Las Vegas about 2 or 3 times a year since our son Reese was born in 03' but before that we would go every other month or so we love that place and not to mention my dad and step mom lived their too! it's only 3 1/2 hours away the food and shopping are great and the pools are always amazing during the summer time. This year were taking Reese with us he has been before when we've taken all the kids yes we always book 2 rooms i have 4 kids total and 1 grandson which i took 2 years ago too! crazy (huh)? but when the kids go we spend the day at the pool then do some shopping and eat at some really cool places. Reese for some reason loves to vacation with us it's just too cute the way he get's so excited he has his own luggage and can't wait to go in a couple of weeks this year it's just me the hubby and our son (Reese).

Every time we go we like to stay somewhere new so this time we picked the Red Rock and one of the reason why is that they have child care so me and the hubby can hit the Spa !! and do alittle gambling too!:) but other than that i hope to get in some shopping and just lay around the pool and maybe some good old room service !

Senior Tea @ LMHS

My youngest daughter Katelyn graduating with Honors !!! Yesterday was Senior Tea at her high school where they past out the honor awards. So i attended with her as the proud parent i am (lol) and enjoyed every minutes of it ! Al though there was no tea or snacks ! What is up with that ?? Why call it senior tea and there is no tea or water ? Gees thank god it wasn't hot i don't know who was in charge of hospitality but they weren't on the ball about it. So i think they should change the name to Senior Honors !!!

Last week's project

So i though my den need a face lift this wall unit was a oak and so dated ! Ugh for years now i told myself i was going to paint it and never did ! But i knew it would look so much better if it matched the pool table but i didn't realize how much work it would be with all the primer i had to prime it twice so the black would take.

SO this is the first coat then i need to put a darker coat so that the black would look better i thought this project would take 3 days top but no more like 5 days and i still want to repaint the walls a really cool Gold color i picked out but i am not sure when i want to start that !(LOL)

Te finished product ! my newly painted wall unit. Now i just need to make a desison on the handles ! I need 18 handles and my budget is $5.00 bucks a handle.

Niko Niko !! Sushi Saturday Night!

This is there baked Alaskan roll

The ultimate Albacore roll OMG! This is one of my FAV rolls from Niko it's always so fresh and has the mustard sauce on it and crispy onions too.

This is there sashimi salad for $11.00 this salad can feel you up ! and it's full of fresh fish and there homemade salad dressing.

Another one of my favorite rolls is the Garlic Albacore roll with toasted garlic on top !

The Gardenwalk in Anaheim

On Saturday we felt like eating some P.F. Chang's !! Last year they put a new one close to us in Anaheim it's across the street from Disneyland.

We started off our lunch with one of my Fav's Wonton soup ! One order is enough for 4 people it so flavorful with wontons,shrimp and a bunch of other yummy stuff !

So we order all our favorites Garlic noodles, Chang's spicy chicken, Crispy honey shrimp, Mongolia beef i know it sounds like alot but we always have so for home later !

Although this place is new it has some really nice shops they are not filled up yet but it's coming along !

While we were there of course we had to stop for Reese's favorite ICE CREAM!!! And i had to snap a pic of the Hello Kitty cake she's my Fav!

Fried Chicken Friday!

Just a quick post ! Today i am making fried chicken !!! Homemade yummy ~ My daughter Katelyn will be hanging out at a friends house tonight with a bunch of girlfriends they all graduate next Tuesday and her friend Toni will be going away to collage out of state and they have been friends since they were around 3 years old ! And Toni loves my chicken !! So i am making a platter of Chicken for the girls to snack on tonight!!

So ya i am just being So Martha today !! Even made a trip to the fabric store picked up a few new patterns and some material so i can start sewing again !
