Flashback Friday !

Yup thats me ! and my son Ryan and look at my hair (LOL) did i like perms or what not even sure whats going on with the color of it but one things for sure i had alot of it and not to even mention i was 6 months pregnant ! Gotta love the 80's we had some pretty awesome music too !

Just as i heard yesterday and it's true SJP & Halston will be pairing up ! SJP will take on a creative role for Halstons new lower priced line "Heritage collection" and hopefully more affordable for the everyday girl.

 

This my favorite Halston dress from the 70's Vintage the "Disco Days" look similar right maybe they will bring back the jersey dress, Just something about the 70's & fashion !

Notecards

So over the weekend i found these's really cute notecards and i had to get them i collect them ! And yes to send out i love just sending an "am thinking of you" card out or a "something funny" card just because  i love my family & friends !  Is there anything special you do for favorite people in your life ?

I love this quote from Eleanor Roosevelt it's something that myelf & others need to be reminded of each and everyday ! So true "Great minds discuss ideas" I think i have some pretty great ideas and i know there are a ton of blogs out there i visit everyday that have so many great ideas some i  read knowing am going to get a great laugh & great advice i love getting to know all my bloggy friends :). Discussing events i think is great on a blog you get so many diverse opinions from all over the country from some pretty smart ladies and thats always a good thing. And yes "Small minds discuss people" ive been so giulty of this and am sure others have too ! So it's never to late for change and with that said i choose to discuss some great ideas with some great friends !

   

Pillows Pillows and more..............

Pillows are the most beautiful & easy and inexpensive thing that can dress up a room, throw one on chair and toss a few on the couch add some to your bed !

So trying to get back into the swing of things around here and am always falling off track (lol) been hitting the gym trying to lose some pounds :0 doing my morning walks i have more than a few to lose ! I've done it before lost the weight that is so i know how to do it ! eat right, excercise and stay positive. I hope you all have a wonderful day !

Gearing up for Valentines Day a new hot pink scraf (from Marshalls under 20 bucks)which i love and cant wait to wear & a new pair of heels( heels were bought this weekend from a little shoe store @ The Blockunder 50 bucks) too !  Hopefully these's heels & scarf will be making an appearance At Orange Hill a girls favorite romantic restaurant in the OC !

Today would have been Elvis 75th Birthday but unfortunately he has left the builing way too early! But not without leaving us all some great memories of some really cool movies and amazing songs that still getcha going ! Two of my all time favorite songs are Suspicious Minds and Viva Las Vegas.
