Summer Salad of the week

Fresh Tomatoes, Basil, Balsamic, Mozzarella and a touch of Olive oil and you will have a Insalata Caprese Salad !
Reduce the Balsamic in a small sauce pan with a 1/2 cup of brown sugar for about 3 to 4 minutes !

And drizzle over salad when done Salt & Pepper to taste and enjoy!

  2. Hahaha! I was thinking exactly what NYCGAL said: DELISH! Too funny. I don't know why but my tomatoes and basil are still not ready to pick, but almost. I'm guessing it was the yucky hardly-any-sun-lots-of-clouds-and-rain summer we had! I'm hoping within the week they'll be "red"dy!
